WordAmigo Log-in Instructions

To access your lessons, you must log in using your unique username. Please ensure you type your username exactly as it was provided to you.

1. Your Credentials

  • Username Format: Your username will typically follow a format like John Doe or john.doe (be sure to include the dot if applicable).
  • Forgotten Details: If you have forgotten your User Name or password, click here and follow the instructions.
  • Password Requirements: To set a new password, it must be at least 12 characters long and include uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and at least one symbol (!, @, #, etc.).
Tip: If the system asks for a stronger password, please be patient and make changes until it is accepted. Once logged in, write your credentials down in your WordAmigo notebook.

2. The Golden Rule: Don’t Log Out!

There is no need to log out of the WordAmigo system. We strongly recommend that you don’t.

  • Why? 95% of our support requests are because students log out and then have a cache or cookie issue.
  • Security: It’s not your bank account; anyone who hijacks your WordAmigo password will just improve their Spanish vocabulary.
  • Ease of Use: Don’t log out; just shut the page. Then, when you next want to revisit the site, just click the WordAmigo icon/button on your screen. If your login attempt fails, click here.

3. Troubleshooting: Cache & Cookies

If you are having trouble logging in, if videos are freezing, or if quiz clips aren’t playing, it is likely a browser or VPN issue.

  • The Cache: Your browser saves information to speed up loading. If it accidentally stores an incorrect password, it may block the new correct one.
  • VPNs: If clips in interactive quizzes aren’t working, try turning off your VPN.

Browser Instructions
Chrome Three dots (top right) > More tools > Clear browsing data > Select “All time” > Clear data.
Firefox Three lines (top right) > Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies > Clear Data.
Edge Three dots > Settings > Privacy > Clear browsing data > Choose what to clear.
Safari Safari Menu > Clear History > Choose time range > Clear History.

Final Step: After clearing data, re-boot your device, restart your browser, and return to WordAmigo.
